Nature's Way

I consider myself a street photographer, not a nature photographer. But I am an avid backpacker, and sometimes the mountains and forests are my “streets.” What I imagined to be a small collection of images taken over the years became a much larger project. Had I selected only one or two images from each backpack trip (which I did not), they would add up. Many better authors and photographers have captured nature. All I am humbly offering are scenes that had filled me with awe and wonder, and many times had me ponder on our own inconsequentiality and mortality. If they can even suggest that to you, the viewer, I will be content.
